Such a stunning evening for this sparkling maternity session by the water. We were freeeeeezing but it was totally worth it so we could capture these photos in their favorite spot ✨

Such a stunning evening for this sparkling maternity session by the water. We were freeeeeezing but it was totally worth it so we could capture these photos in their favorite spot ✨

So fun photographing these two little siblings and their parents at home just before Thanksgiving. I photographed them both as newborns and met this family first when Covid was still new and at that time I only met clients outside masked. What a whirlwind of a few years it’s been for us all … and these two are now a toddler and a preschooler! Eternally grateful for my little business connecting me to families and being able to grow these relationships over the years. 🥰

So fun photographing these two little siblings and their parents at home just before Thanksgiving. Loving this sparkly fall session - how lucky we were with the weather for this sweet baby session in the leaves. Its been SO RAINY here in Seattle - I’ve never had to reschedule so many sessions as I have these past few weeks.

Usually after rain is beautiful and fresh and the wetness makes the colors pop and adds some sparkle but I never make families go out when it’s actually raining - that’s not fun for you or me! ☔️ 📷

Last few weeks waiting on baby for these parents to be … I’m so thrilled with how our session came out - the weather was typical Seattle spring with rain and cloud one minute and sun and shadows the next … it was also chilly and our noses were starting to get red. But this mama was hiking those hills to get these photos of her at this special time, no easy task at 35 weeks pregnant. 💪✨✨

I photographed this Mom when she was pregnant with her second and it was so joyful to capture them all again and see her little one as a big sister. Little sister isn’t quite walking yet but will soon and I love how these photos will freeze this fun time for this family. The girls bonding, starting to explore together, both little, both before school starts, each stage is special but they all just whizz by and one of my favorite things about photography is ‘a picture never changes, even when the people in it do’ (Andy Warhol). ✨✨

Oh my goodness - this little baby boy was the sleepiest for his newborn session. Babies can be asleep or awake for my sessions and are usually a bit of both, as newborns do. We often move in and out of baby alone photos as baby needs cuddles, or a feed or a change but this little guy was completely happy to just lay and be adored and photographed waking up to take some photos with his parents 🤭💕 so precious

This beautiful baby girl shares a birthday month with my own baby boy. I can’t believe they are 3 months old already! As hard as it is that time is flying - 3 months is a fun time!! .. smiles, giggles, chuckles, watching the family and finally holding up those HEAVY heads! I truly believe there is no perfect time for taking baby photos - all the months offer something special - it all depends on what you want to capture.. 3 months definitely has lots of magic ✨
