Hi, I'm Sophie !

I'm an award-winning lifestyle family photographer based in Seattle and serve the surrounding Metro-Area. I'm into capturing natural, beautiful and timeless photographs of the ones you love most. I believe a beautiful portrait should portray much more than just a smile, so it's my goal to make you and your loved ones feel at ease so you can relax, be yourselves and I can capture the real you. Together, we can create meaningful, heart-warming photos with real moments that you can cherish forever.

I am a busy Mom of a little boy who loves mud, bikes and building, and a baby boy who loves to laugh and say hi, I'm married to my best friend, am a grower of plants and veggies and keeper of chickens. I love being outside and calling the PNW home. Originally from London, I'm used to grey skies but sorry Seattle, I prefer tea to coffee!

My Family Photo Sessions won't have awkward poses, hidden costs, confusing packages and long waits for photos to be delivered.  My Family Photo Session are easy to arrange and be part of, they are full of genuine moments and are are designed to feel like a stroll in the park, all costs are clear upfront, and photos are delivered within 2 weeks, they are easy to share and use and you will treasure them for generations to come. Simple as that!

My background -

 

I started taking photos at an early age, my Dad took photos and so did my Grandfather. At high school I studied film photography and spent hours in the darkroom developing photos of my family and friends. I've always adored the art form, the masters, the gear, the trends and the software but my heart is always with natural light and minimal processing.

​

I am a fully-degreed, licensed and insured photographer with a BA in Digital Imaging and Photography from the University of West London and a MA in Promotional Media from Goldsmiths, University of London. In addition, I am an active member of the American Photographic Artists (AMA) and Lifestyle Photographers Association (LSP). 

 

I have been working in the visual and performing arts my entire working career - I have always used my photography and have had my work featured in numerous publications, advertising campaigns and newspapers. This success led me to starting my own Photography business in London specializing in taking family portraits, and on to Seattle where I've lived this past 7 years.

 

It is my privilege to own a small business dong what I love everyday. I'm honored to get to work with families like you each and every day, capturing the moments you want to remember for a lifetime, the days you will never forget.
